Positive: The shower was nice and accessible in the room Negative: There was not much I liked so this would be a long list. It is a patchworked older hotel with paint. The HVAC did not work properly. The staff was indifferent toward guests and lacked customer service in every way.

We recently stayed here and overall had a good experience. The property itself is very cute, and everything was clean—from the rooms to the hallways and surrounding areas—which is always a huge plus. The front desk staff was also wonderful during both check-in and check-out. They were friendly, welcoming, and made the process smooth and easy, which set a great tone for our stay. One downside was that the outdoor seating didn’t resemble the photos at all. That was a bit disappointing, especially since we were looking forward to relaxing outside in the evenings. There really wasn’t a comfortable or inviting space to enjoy the warm weather, which felt like a missed opportunity. That said, what truly turned our stay around was Makayla in the bar/dining area. She was absolutely wonderful. Her personality is warm, engaging, and genuine—you can tell she truly enjoys connecting with guests. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and honestly, she was the highlight of our stay. We enjoyed her so much that we made a point to come back the next morning just to see her again at breakfast. For the price, this place is a great value, and the location is convenient. While there are a few areas for improvement, the exceptional service—especially from Makayla—made a lasting impression. I would absolutely return, if only to grab a meal and see her again!

Tried to leave a review with my other account but it may have got deleted…. I stayed here last week for work. It was only for one night but it was a great hotel. Ana at the front desk was amazing and went above and beyond for me. Vicki in housekeeping was absolutely fantastic. No matter what I asked for they were all so accommodating! Rooms were okay for the price and the restaurant dinner menu was delicious. Loved Makayla at the bar. Business doesn’t bring me to Sarasota too often but I’ll definitely stay here again if I can

Reservation was made directly with Even Hotels reservations yet five days before our stay, price dropped significantly online and we called to cancel and rebook for savings. No notice from Hotel. We arrived 40 minutes before checkin and were told it would be a $20.00 charge to check in early even though there were hardly any cars in the parking area or people in the Hotel for that matter. We awaited the 3 PM checkin. Our room had a mirror over the basin that had a 10 inch glass corner broken off and it was as if a sharp shard was left for some unassuming patron to cut themselves. The soap dispensor was void of soap and tthe GFI electric outlet for the hairdryer was not working yet the cover for the receptacle was hanging as if someone tried fixing it but left the cover unattached. All items were reported within 1 hour of the 3PM checkin and our stay was for 3 nights (Fri-Monday morn) yet only the soap dispenser was attended to. Leaves were noted on the carpeted area when we arrived and were still there when we left. Breakfast (included for extra $) was fair at best. The final disrespect was upon checkout, we found our cc had been overcharged as compared to our confirmed rate provided by the Even Hotel reservations. Two calls to the manager Garrett Brown were unsuccessful with regard to crediting the overcharge. We did not have any extras during our stay and none were shown on our statement at checkout.

My family and I went on a little getaway and this place was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond for my family and I. Kayla was extremely accommodating and so welcoming to my family. The food was top tier and absolutely delicious. The rooms were very clean and smelled amazing. Right when you walk in it feels like home and just relaxing. If you are coming to Sarasota and want and need a place to stay please check out this hotel. It's in a great location. Lots of shops and restaurants as well however, I would check out the restaurant inside the hotel.

While staying here, I came back to my room to find that the housekeeping group had “cleaned” my room and all my toiletries from around the sink had been disposed of. I was in the room then the housekeeper came in and asked what I was doing in the room and I had to show her my luggage in the closet. Then she called the trash cart back up so she could retrieve my items and place by sink. I wasn’t going to use any items from the hotel trash imagine what my toothbrush cologne and what not could be in the trash with. The hotel agreed to not charge me for the final night then hit me with the full charge couple months later. The whole experience with the hotel was a joke when I asked what they were going to do for it the front desk guy called a manager and it was a inconvenience to him because he was in a personal training session.

Unfortunately, even though we personally liked the manager, Tristan, we are leaving very unhappy and feeling that we did not receive what we paid for and what was advertised. Stayed first night and everything was very good and as expected. Tristan was a great representative for the hotel. Because of his attitude and great demeanor we felt very welcomed and appreciated. Day after we checked out, we decided to come back for 2 more nights. Things took turn at this point. We were checked in to a room with smelling like body odor pillows, used sheets, and very clearly unvaccumed floors. New room was assigned without any issue and were able to quickly shower before getting a new room. Exhausted from the day was moved to another room, 4 floors up. Now sheets were clean and so were the floors. But one of the shower heads did not work, the other one had barely any water pressure making it a very long process to rinse off properly. The worst part was that I was standing in the bathtub up to my ankles in drain water. Quite disgusting. Decided to not bother the night shift and go to bed and address the situation with Tristan the following day. After expressing my disappointment and stating we need to stay one more night in town, I was offered a $80 rate as a recompensation for the inconvenience and unpleasant experience. That was a little over $10 discount versus online rate that I was paying. So we decided not to take the offer and leave. Also earlier that day, I asked about late check out with lady at the front desk and she said "There arent any available!". Proceeded to question why can't I stay an extra hour. She answered with, "You can, but it will be extra $20" and that's what I got after I spent 3 out of 4 nights there and even purchased meals at their lobby restaurant. Very strange interaction which at the end resulted in not being charged for late check out. The hotel at the time was already pretty much empty, at night there were maybe 5 cars, so I am confused why not put more effort in making sure your guests leave happy and satisfied by their purchase. Besides that unpleasant personal experience, there was also a pool filter that wasn't running and the pool ended up being full of dead insects and small debris. Pool area had leaves around the hot tub area and bunch of ants. No ashtrays in designated smoking areas leading to people being surrounded by cigarette butts. There was an empty coffee cup and medical blue glove down the hall for almost 2 days, looking like a kidnapping scene. Unfortunately it started off very promising and ended up being another disappointing experience in an low average hotel.

My stay has been great! The hospitality from the ladies at the front desk, getting checked in and shoutout to Nijah for answering some questions today. The room was spacious and the shower felt good after a long first day, great water pressure and love the design of the walk-in shower too. Comfortable king bed and pillows. I like the idea of the ability to workout in your room with the exercise equipment (bands, foam roller, small foam block and yoga mat). I would recommend and definitely stay here again!!
